Albert Zerkowitz
Appearance
Albert Zerkowitz was an entomologist . He was born January 13, 1905 in Budapest, Hungary and was a Hungarian citizen until January 1, [[1939)) when by action of that country he became stateless. From 1905 to 1925 he lived in Budapest and from 1925 to 1939 in Paris. From 1939 to October, 1941, he lived in Lisbon, Portugal.[1] He entered the United States at New York on October 14, 1941. On May 12, 1947 he became a U.S. citizen. He continues his passion for Lepidoptera.[2] He became a member of the Lepidopterists' Society in 1957.[3] He died 1964 in Manhattan, New York.[4]
Works
His main entomological work was his catalogue of the Lepidoptera of Portugal.[5]

- Cucullia zerkowitzi Boursin 1934[6], now Shargacucullia zerkowitzi.
