Jordan Chandler (24.April,1990-24.July, 2040) was an American musician, record producer, writer, film director, media mogul, political commentator, businessman, aviator, artist, and philanthropist. Chandler rose to to early fame in the early 2010s as a lead guitarist and occasional vocalist for the Dallas, Texas based band, The Jumpalumps. Chandler released subsequent, multi-genre extremely successful solo albums upon departing The Jumpalumps. His second major solo album Reality of Function in 2014 surpassed the Michael Jackson album Thriller as the best selling music record of all time. In 2016 formed the Sessberrie's corporation, (with brother Jason Chandler) to produce his own records. The company was later renamed the Chandler Corporation. This along with huge record sales, his assesting of newly formed aviation companies/major television stations and various other media companies, his regular presence on political news shows, high grossing films directed by him, several paintings created, and books authored under his name earned Chandler an average yearly income of nearly $950 million USD. Chandler's highly publicized personal life, large wealth and business/entertainment endeavors lead to him being a public and controversial figure for nearly 3 decades. Chandler's work in the entertainment industry waned to an extent in the 2020s, but he did however release the extremely commercially successful Sights album in 2023. Chandler remained active into the 2030s, although he became more reclusive and was not in the public eye as much. In 2033 Chandler released what would be his last studio album Echoes of Life. In 2039 Chandler announced he had plans on releasing new singles, and a subsequent tour of various American cities to support these singles. On July 24th, 2040 Chandler was to appear at a Visalia, California political rally for his support of Libertarian gubernatorial candidates. However he suffered a heart attack and subsequently died at 1:17 PM PST at the age of 50. At the time of his death Chandler was the third richest person in the world, and the richest in the United States of America with an estimated net worth of $36 billion USD in 2038, putting him just ahead of Jared Davis. Ironically Chandler was a large supporter for, and campaigned extensively for Davis during Davis's run for Garbage Commissioner of Visalia, California.

Early life

[edit]

Chandler was born in Mason, Ohio on April 24th, 1990 to Jeffery Paul Chandler and Evelyn Missi Chandler. Jeffery had 6 children (Jason,Chris,Chuck,Izabella,Whitney, and Katherine) from a previous marriage, Jordan was his mother's first child. The family relocated to the Greater Cleveland area in early 1993 when Jordan was two years old. His parents separated soon after and his mother moved back to Austin, Texas where she had lived before marriage. When asked about his childhood, Chandler described it as "often rocky, but sometimes peaceful". His father was an alcoholic for a large part of his childhood, and he often had trouble building relationships with his brothers, preferring his sisters and their respective friends to be around. His father often had a good source of income due to his traveling worldwide to various jobs for UPS. This allowed Chandler to get what he called "a true education a rarity then, and even more so now in America" in a 2034 interview. In 2002 his father and Chandler's elder brother Chris relocated to Texas, so Jordan could be close to both of his parents. Chandler moved to Austin with his mother, preferring it over what he thought of as "the big town, small town mindset" of Waco where his father relocated to. In 2005 his mother decided to move to Waco to be closer to her mother. She also met Steve Cook Jr., another Waco resident, and whom she would later marry in July 2009. Chandler spent most of his time in Waco living with his maternal grandmother, whom he became very close to despite their religious differences, and sometimes political ones. Chandler recalled his life in Waco as a lazy one, and claimed he never really had much interest in the future, he also recalled that he was largely a hermit, and "an outlaw too I guess". He graduated with high honors from Midway High School in April of 2007. Chandler often called his early graduation as "the worst, and best mistake of his life" for reasons unknown. "Suburban Waco was one of those average areas, so very American in every way possible, so average and so painfully normal", he recalled in 2024 interview. Chandler often worked petty jobs, and a few tax-paying jobs for income to start his college terms in Waco throughout 2007-2010. In the summer of 2010, Chandler relocated to Dallas following his tenure at McLennan Community College. After this, Chandler started attending The University of North Texas, in the fall of 2010, with a major in Astronomy, and Political Science. Chandler's main source of income was running his stepsister's candy store in Downtown Dallas. It was through here that Chandler started jam sessions, although they were usually no band, it was beginning of The Jumpalumps.

The Jumpalumps

[edit]

In the fall of 2010, Chandler started regular jam sessions, with frequent customers to the candy store. After awhile, this attracted the attention of James Williams II and the two decided to form a musical collaboration. Chandler decided on the name The Jumpalumps when reading a Dr. Seuss book. The two later recruited friends of Williams, and the band was now "proper", according to Chandler. The band often played quite a diverse range, ranging from jazz-general rock. Chandler and Williams, often shared vocal duties, with Chandler playing guitar, saxophone, keyboards, theremin, and kalimba. The two eventually found a stable drummer, and bassist, and started writing more mature tracks, and began playing their first shows at jazz clubs, parks, and bars. The band all kept the money made at these venues, saving up to start recording material for an album, in late 2010. "Most my friends hated it, metal was the big thing with them, personally I liked it too, but I just didn't want to play it, no disrespect to those who do, we are all musicians and like everything else in life we all have our differences with things. Some, did like the more...heh..."white" music on it though, you know the more straight forward rock", Chandler recalled on the music the band often played, in an interview following the recording of the bands typical material.
