David Binder(born February 22 1931) is a british-born journalist and author.He has been a writer for the New York Times since 1961 and has wriiten several books on the seperation of Berlin. He has contributed to several magazines, including Reporter, Nation, and New Republic

Early Life

Bindaer was born on February 22, 1931, in London, England along with his twin sister Deborah to American parents Carrol (a Newspaperman), and Dorothy (Walton) Binder. He was raised in Chicago until the age of (insert age here), when he was sent to a Quaker boarding school in Pennsylvania. He then went to Harvard, before going to the University of Cologne to get his graduate degree.
