Spermezeu is a commune in Bistriţa-Năsăud County, Romania. It is composed of eight villages: Dobricel, Dumbrăviţa, Hălmăsău, Lunca Borlesei, Păltineasa, Sita, Spermezeu and Şesuri Spermezeu-Vale. Dobricel and Dumbrăviţa were part of Căianu Mic Commune until 2004.
