KMHX started on 104.1 FM, Maverick Media purchased country station Q105 (104.9 FM) and the intellectual property of KMHX from Results Radio in March 2006. Maverick Media moved the HOT AC format of KMHX on to the stronger 104.9 as they already owned a Country Station, Froggy 92.9.
On-air staff
KMHX broadcast the syndicated Bob and Sheri show in the morning 6 am to 10 am, Sonoma County radio veteran Stacey K in the midday 10 am - 3 pm, Bay Area radio native Danny Wright in the afternoon 3 pm - 8 pm and The Billy Bush Show 8 pm - midnight.
