Daniel Fells (born September 23, 1983 in Anaheim, California) is an American football tight end for the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League. He was signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at UC Davis.
Fells has also been a member of the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Early years
Fells attended Fullerton Union High School. He was an All-Freeway League performer in football, basketball and baseball and was named All-CIF honors in football and was named team MVP. Fells was also All-SoCalHoops D-IIA honorable mention as a senior in basketball.
College career
As a senior Fells was Second-team All-GWFC with 10 receptions for 165 yards and one touchdown. In 2004, as a junior, he was a First-team All-GWFC, with 35 receptions for 520 yards and 1 TD. In 2003 won team's award as outstanding sophomore. In 2002 Fells was on the roster roster, did not play and in 2001 he redshirted.

Atlanta Falcons
Fells was originally signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2006.
St. Louis Rams
In October 2008, Fells signed a free agent contract with the St. Louis Rams. In 2008, Fells played 12 games with one start and caught 7 passes for 81 yards. He was placed on injured reserve on December 21, 2009.
