Govindraj Ethiraj is an Indian financial journalist and editor-in-chief at the television channel Bloomberg UTV.[1] He earlier worked with CNBC TV18 before moving to Bloomberg UTV.[2]

Early life

He studied at the Elphinstone College, University of Mumbai.

Career

Govindraj Ethiraj worked with Economic Times, Business World and Business India. He also worked as a Editor (New Media) at Business Standard. He worked with CNBC TV18 before moving to set up Bloomberg UTV.

At Bloomberg UTV, Govindraj anchors the primetime news & analysis show - India Business Day - weeknights at 9pm. He also hosts a weekend show - Common Maximum Programme - where he interviews senior business leaders to get their views on where India is headed.

He is quitting Bloomberg UTV in September 2010 and joining UIDAI for its prestigious AADHAAR project.[3]
