Zgornji Log is a settlement on the left bank of the river Sava in the Litija municipality in central Slovenia. The Ljubljana to Zidani Most railway line runs through the settlement and crosses the river Sava just north of the settlement core. Traditionally the area was part of Lower Styria and is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]

A late Bronze Age hoard was found in the settlement in the mid 19th century. It contained four bronze axes, a sickle and a spear.[3]
