The 2010-11 Primera División Profesional season is the 64th professional season of Mexico's top-flight football league, and the 1st time they use the Bicentenario.The season is split into two tournaments—the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Bicentenario—each with identical formats and each contested by the same eighteen teams.

Clubs

Seventeen teams return for this season. Indios de Ciudad Juárez was relegated the previous season after accumulated the lowest coefficient over the past three season. They were replaced by Necaxa, who was promoted from the Liga de Ascenso.
