ISO 3166-2:CH

ISO 3166-2:CH is the entry in ISO 3166-2, part of the ISO 3166 standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which defines codes for the names of the principal subdivisions of Switzerland (whose ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code is CH).

Currently 26 cantons are assigned codes. Each code starts with CH-, followed by two letters, which is currently used in the vehicle registration plates of Switzerland.
