Avalon Boulevard is a north-south street in Los Angeles County.

Geography

Avalon Boulevard is formed after San Pedro Street intersects with Jefferson Boulevard east of Exposition Park. It passes through Southern Los Angeles County through cities and communities like Carson, Willowbrook, and Wilmington, with its total length being about 17.3 miles (27.8 km). It ends at Water Street in Wilmington. In Wilmington, Avalon Boulevard is the west-east postal divider for that district.

Transportation

Avalon Boulevard provides bus service with Metro Local lines 51, (until Compton Boulevard) 52 and 352 (until Victoria Street), as well as Metro Express lines 446 and 447 (between Victoria Street and Harry Bridges Boulevard). The Metro Green Line serves a station in the center median of the Century Freeway above the boulevard.
