Texas in July

Texas in July is an American metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band formed in 2007, with members ranging in age from only 15 to 17. As of 2009, some members were still in high school. The band signed with CI Records in 2008 and have released one EP and one full length with the label. The band is exceptionally popular in their hometown, routinely packing Lancaster’s 850+ capacity venue The Chameleon Club, and have shared the stage with an large number of heavy metal bands, such as Every Time I Die, The Devil Wears Prada, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, The Bled, and August Burns Red (with whom were also once on CI Records and share a similar style).[1] The band routinely tours nationally in support of these bands and have played at festivals, including the Purple Door Festival. Their debut album, I Am, was released via mail-order July 2nd, 2009 with a planned regular release in September 2009.
