Sup everybody...

A little about what I mainly do here on Wikipedia:

I do some writing, mostly for military or political pages, but I mainly work on vandalism clean-up and categorization.

Speedy deletion of HYACKs (MN)

A tag has been placed on HYACKs (MN) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ukexpat (talk) 21:00, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your message on my talk page

Thank you for your recent message on my talk page. First I take objection to the tone of your message, but I will overlook that this time. Please note that I did not delete the HYACKs (MN) article -- I nominated it for deletion for non-notability reasons -- only admins have the authority to delete articles. Thank you. --ukexpat (talk) 21:53, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HYACKs (MN)

This article consisted of text that I did not write. I created a page on a large group called HYACKs, and another contributor added info about another group by the same name in Minnesota. I removed the text from the body of my article and created a new page for it. I guess the page was way too non-notable and I should have left it in a "Other Groups" portion of my page, but it's extremely annoying that you deleted it within hours of posting a Non-Notability Notice. In fact I was still on the computer not even 2 hours later when I came back and the article had already been deleted. You need to at least give the creator time to either remove it or something. Because of your OCD-like deletion, I now have lost that text and cannot recover it (as it was not my info) to place it back in my article. Don't do it again please. You've got the wrong guy here, Mullins421. User:Ukexpat is not an admin and does not have the capability of deleting articles. He simply nominated it. Another user, an admin User:Irishguy deleted the article. It was deleted on the grounds of not asserting notability (in other words, why do you feel it belongs in an encyclopedia?). If you'd like, I repost the information (your work) into your userspace so you can continue to work on it. That isn't a promise that it would ever make it into the mainspace, just a good faith gesture to give you a chance to prevent you from getting frustrated. Let me know if you'd like a copy of the article's contents. I will post this on your talkpage as well. Keeper | 76 21:55, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hyacks (MN)

Got your message -here is the entire text of the HYACKs (MN) article that was deleted:

HYACKs is also the name of a High School Ministry formerly known as 180 in Buffalo, MN. They meet at Buffalo Evangelical Free Church at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays. Their youth pastor is Jim Matthews.

Please note, it is exactly what is already said in the HYACKs article that you have worked on, there is no need to undelete the MN article. If it is ever recreated, (by you or any other editor) it needs to establish its notability from independent, verifiable, reliable sources, which the MN article did not. By the way, is your name an homage to the late Rich Mulllins? Great musician. Thanks, Keeper | 76 15:24, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can you provide any evidence that this is a real theory? Google searches turn up nothing. I was thinking it was a hoax, but you seem to be an established editor, so I don't want to jump to that conclusion. Please let me know if you can substantiate this article. Thanks. Per your blanking of the article, and the note you left on the talk page, I tagged the article for deletion as requested by the creator, and only substantial content provider. This is done by placing {{db-g7}} on the article, which requests its speedy deletion under the G7 criteria. THEN WHO WAS PHONE? (talk) 23:15, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
