Michael Stanley Till was Dean of Winchester in the last decade of the 20th Century and the first few years of the 21st [1]. He was educated at Lincoln College, Oxford [2] and ordained in 1965. He began his career with a curacy at St John's, St John's Wood [3], after which he was Chaplain (and Dean and Fellow) of King's College, Cambridge [4], Vicar of All Saints', Fulham and Area Dean of Hammersmith before his elevation to the Deanery.
