Re:

Great to see your article on the homepage, and it was all your work that did the job, not mine. I wish I knew how to nominate an article etc., but I am not any good at it. On July 5, the album South of Heaven will celebrate its 20th anniversary. If it could end up as today's featured article on that day. Unfortunately, the idiotic five article limit is still in play. Hymns and Spiritual Songs - a note

Although the "full" title is Hymns and Spiritual Songs for the Fasts and Festivals of the Church of England, 18th century titles/title pages do not use the "colon" to separate the title clauses. Thus, the publishing title is Hymns and Spiritual Songs, which is taken up as the title in Marcus Walsh's and Karina Williams's authoritative edition of the work in The Poetical Works of Christopher Smart vol II. This title is also used by critics when refering to the work, such as Neil Curry's chapter 5 titled Hymns and Spiritual Songs. Now, there has to be a disambig page, because Isaac Watt wrote a Hymns and Spiritual Songs, which should be disambiguated as a "collection" (it was a collection of loose hymns and spiritual songs written by him. Also, the title is very generic, so it Christopher Smart's may have to be disambiguated to say "1765" or "Smart". It will be a complicated issue in the future, because there was very little in Wikipedia to address Anglican and Dissenter religious works (plenty of works, little mention). Now, there are a few possibilities with this - we can follow your suggestion for the "full" title and add a disambiguation note about "Hymns and Spiritual Songs", or we can leave it as the shortened title. I don't care much either way, and the ball is in your court. Ottava Rima (talk) 17:45, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, there he is! Congratulations, Cricket02. I did nothing but I do know you've earned this spot for Bradley Joseph. Great work. —SusanLesch (talk) 07:00, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I really didn't mean to get your goat regarding the article. In fact i do think you've done a very good job writing and bringing the article up to FA class (no mean feat for a rather obscure artist). I suppose my real frustration is that more important topics seem to languish (Sun Tzu, The Beatles, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln) whilst topics that i deem of lesser importance get much attention (Cortana, Spoo, List of WWE European Champions). I guess this is the real problem (if it is a problem) of wikipedia: it's so much easier to write a great article on a lesser topic than it is a larger one, and it shows. To be honest i am not helping with this skew - I think wikipedia needs more experts on greater topics. Just my ramblings. Didn't mean to insult your efforts. Thriller FA review

Hi cricket, I have responded to your minor concerns about the article, I will try to resolve these and hope you have time to respond to this. Cheers and thank you for the article complement. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 10:28, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm currently adding more dates where possible, I'm half way through and yes I have found a few already. I'll be finished in about 30 minutes. — Realist2 (Who's Bad?) 11:30, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I was hovering around the Thriller FAC and was wondering if you wouldn't mind skimming over a few articles? I'm currently working on Janet Jackson, Control (Janet Jackson album), Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 and janet.. I'm working to get them all to GA as well as FA (in addition to all articles relating to WP:JANET) and I could always use music-savvy editors to help improve the quality of the prose and overall content. If any aspect of the Janet Project peaks your interest, any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 12:24, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a huge fan of the whole Jackson family, I would love to. Will try to have a look over the next few weeks. ♫ Cricket02 (talk) 15:06, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Yannidaretodream.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Yannidaretodream.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:08, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Funny

Same thing's happened to me before; there are some odd people about! Nice to hear from you- I'm on and off Wikipedia myself (college, technical problems, even burnout) but should hopefully be back for the long haul now. I guessed the Allmusic issue would be pretty much resolved once the bot finished its run, but I've now realised that there are plenty of other pages that needed fixing, and that people are still using "All Music Guide", so I guess it is an on-going task. If you get a minute, I have an outstanding music-related FAC- feel free to ignore that if you're not interested. Also, as ever, feel free to contact me if I can be of any help with anything. Please assist.

Hi. I'm not a very experienced editor, but I see you awarded a Barnstar to a user named Emerson7 .

This user has recently been making some questionable edits to the "Entertaining Mr Sloane", "Private Lives", and "Same Time Next Year" articles, and has also been warned several times in the past weeks about the 3RR rule.

What can be done to assist with these disruptive edits? Any advice you can give would help. Thanks so much! 207.237.228.71 (talk) 04:14, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
