Callan Ward (born 10 April 1990) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Western Bulldogs Football Club in the Australian Football League from 2008. He made his debut against St. Kilda on the 8th of June 2008, collecting 12 disposals and finishing with one goal.

Recruited from his TAC Cup team, the Western Jets, Ward attracted attention from the Bulldogs as a medium sized defender who hails from local suburb Spotswood[1].

Ward nominated for the 2007 AFL National Draft. He was selected by the Bulldogs with their second selection (#19 overall) after being a mere 20 days old enough to nominate for the draft[2].

Callan went to primary school at St Margaret Marys, in Spotswood. His mum, Kerri Ward, also taught as a librarian for this school. He now attends Year 12 at Williamstown High School. He has a twin sister, Aysha and two older sisters, Mickayla and Kiandra.

Callan is the grandson of former South Melbourne player, Bill Gunn, who played for them from 1952 to 1959. He also captained them in the 1955 season.
