Your help may be needed over at Bobby Jindal

I am trying to convince this user that a source should not be used because it makes no mention of Jindal. I figured you would agree and could get my back. Check out the talk page. DanielZimmerman (talk) 02:47, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request?

Aloha, Ferrylodge. I was wondering if you thought evolving standards of decency would be an article you would like to build (or help build). I currently have it as a simple redirect to Living Constitution, but I think the case law makes it a notable enough buzz-phrase that it could evolve into a standard, decent article. Anyway, I just thought you might like to either take a look at it, or not. Whatever. :-) Mahalo. --Ali'i 17:56, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ali'i. It seems like that concept would fall under Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Maybe it would be best to start a section about it there, and then split it off if it gets big enough. Can't do it right now, though. Must....try...to....do....real....work.  :-)Ferrylodge (talk) 18:10, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I hear ya! That's why I just made it a redirect rather than try and knock up a stub. Maybe I'll get around to it later. Thanks anyways! ;-) --Ali'i 18:18, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Free music Request

I posted a request at WikiProject Free music. Thanks. Bebestbe (talk) 04:55, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

As you are certainly aware, you are under an arbitration sanction - "(Ferrylodge) is subject to an editing restriction indefinitely. Any uninvolved administrator may ban Ferrylodge from any article which relates to pregnancy or abortion, interpreted broadly, which they disrupt by inappropriate editing." I am concerned that your serial reverts to Fetus are disruptive. Please seek consensus on the talk page as opposed to edit warring on the article page, regardless of what others may do. If other users refuse to participate on the talk page, file either a content or user conduct RFC. Do not edit war. Thanks. PouponOnToast (talk) 19:03, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have already filed a 3RR report. It is not disruptive to undo disruption, and I have no intention of making any further reverts at that article today.Ferrylodge (talk) 19:06, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I learned of this situation from your report. It takes two to edit war. Given that you are both acting in good faith, it is imperitive that you not edit war, and instead discuss the changes on the talk page. If this means that the article is not in your preferred version for a period of time, so be it - there is no deadline. If you must, place an appropriate dispute warning tag on the article itself while you discuss on the talk page, but you must stop edit warring. That dosen't mean you get 3 reverts a day, it means you don't revert if you suspect the other part will re-revert you. PouponOnToast (talk) 19:08, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
