Kylie
Origin
Word/nameAustralia

Kylie (Template:PronEng[1]) is a common female personal name of Australian origin. The name is derived from a Noongar (Australian Aboriginal) word meaning 'boomerang'.[2] The name Kylie also means "attractive". In Hawaiian, Kylie means "beautiful spirit". Since the 1980s Kylie has also become a common name for girls in the United States, where it is thought of as a feminine form for Kyle.[citation needed] "Kiley" and "Kylee" are variant spellings.[citation needed]
