Background and General Interests
|
Rob (b. September 10, 1986 in Toledo, Ohio), AKA Phoenix1304, is a registered Wikipedian who enjoys creating pseudo-articles that make him look a lot more important than he is.
His interests include politics, computer science, mathematics, gay rights, computer and video games, as well as referring to himself in the third person. He is active in the Libertarian Party, having become fed up with bi-partisan incompetence years ago.
Rob as a Wikipedian
In general, Rob prefers to read and edit articles concerning technology, physics, mathematics, LGBT-related articles, video games, or if the mood strikes him, Harry Potter. He makes it a point to never edit an article with anything he feels is unnecessary, redundant, or blatant vandalism. If another Wikipedian happens to disagree, he would prefer it if this person would contact him or at least discuss their rationale on the talk page of that article. It makes the world much more civil, in his opinion. Then again, he tends to ignore rampant deleters or those with agendas, so alter away if you really, really must.
The Future
Well, how am I supposed to know what the future holds for Rob? It hasn't even happened yet. If I had to make an educated guess, though, I would say he plans on becoming a lot more active within the Wikimunity as his editing skills improve. See his fake album page.
