Will Haven were a hardcore band from Sacramento California, they're debut self titled debut EP was released in 1996 and went on to recieve some pretty good reviews. The band regularly played shows with friend of the band Deftones around the Sacramento area.

1997 saw the release of El Diablo, the most notable tracks being "I've seen my fate" and "Ego's game". The band started to get more of a following, and were building up quite a name for themselves at this point.

In 1999 they released WHVN, which is considered by many to be the heaviest album they released. Listening to this album feels like your actually recieving a beating from the music-they're live shows were gaining as much of a reputation as the CDs.

In 2001 they released the critically acclaimed Carpe Diem. The single "carpe diem" features Chino Moreno of Deftones in the video. They went on a world tour and were gaining a reputation as one of the most promising bands around, they're live shows were always packed and especially people in Britain who were rapidly getting sick of "nu metal" were turning to bands like Will Haven for the future of heavy music.

But alas it was not to be, and the band split up when singer Grady Avenall left not long after this tour. They released a DVD called Foreign Films, featuring they're last ever show and a wealth of footage from the last tour.

The remaining members of the band went on to form Ghostride, who are currently doing pretty well for themselves
