Midland Lee Rebels

In the late 90's and in 2000, Midland Lee won three consecutive 5-A state football championships, the first school to ever accomplish that feat (Carroll High School of Southlake, Texas, has won three consecutive 5A titles as well, 2004-2006). The 1999 season marked an undefeated national championship awarded by the Associated Press. In the span of those three years Midland Lee went 43-3. The Rebels were led by tailback Cedric Benson and Coach John Parchman. The Rebels are still a successful 5-A team, always battling their archrivals the Odessa Permian Panthers and the Midland High Bulldogs for the district 3-5A title.
