Merger proposal
Library system is a closely related topic and would be better served by this article, clarifying any distinctions between a network of branch libraries and a consortium of libraries with different parent organizations. Addedentry (talk) 13:07, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- I reversed this merge as clearly more discussion is needed. Consortium article does not cover or describe a library system at all, it confuses two distinct (or one umbrella) term(s) in my view. Any other thoughts? Rhagfyr (talk) 22:46, 27 June 2023 (UTC)

At present this page does not link to List of library consortia, which it should. Not sure where would be a good place to link to it, I think quite far up but not sure where would suit, other than the Further Reading section. Any ideas?Rhagfyr (talk) 21:38, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
