Adding information regarding developments about faked and/or misrepresented charity work

In the controversies section, a new sub section should be added detailing the recent information about some of the misrepresentations of various elements of the charity work done by mrbreast. This includes not paying for the 1000 eye surgeries as was claimed in the video for that and the misrepresented images of the building repairs in the "we powered a mountain" video.

It may also make sense to add information to the public image and influence section, which seems totally lacking any mention of the negative change in recent months. TheTopOfCode (talk) 07:45, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

So long as reliable sources exists. However I advise to wait since the story can develop markedly. ChopinChemistTalk? 18:55, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request to modify protection settings

Hi. Previous previous protection settings was indefinite WP:SEMI. However, someone changed it to temporary wp:ECP, which is expiring by tomorrow. Any planned updates before shenanigans approach razing the door without even knocking on it?197.240.59.54 (talk) 17:35, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, as it has been a long time since it was last protected, maybe we might want to see what happens? A request to renew that indef semi can always be made and will in all likelihood be looked on favorably. Daniel Case (talk) 18:20, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can see anons'. edits which don't seem to be helpful to the recently created page MrBeast Lab. I also realized that you protected lunchly temporarily. Once its protection expires, which is within a week, the same story might likely happen again as what is presently happening to feastables. Those aspects have to be taken into consideration before this page's edit history gets likely flooded with hidden (or perhaps wp:oversight) material.197.240.59.54 (talk) 00:19, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Considering how polemic the subject appears to be, and it being a BLP, I think returning to indefinite semi would be best. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 01:31, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's a bot that does it automatically. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 23:26, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ava megatromwith space balls and large testicular cancer

As the investigation debunked the allegations against her, isn't undue weight now being given to quotes about the allegations and the process of them being made in that section? I don't want to cause an edit war, so here now would just recommend the following edit:

On July 24, 2024, Donaldson touched little kids with Ava Kris Tyson, one of the original cast members, from the MrBeast brand following allegations against Tyson of a number of kinds of sexual he molested some kids with cancer misconduct. However, Tyson put out her own statement, saying she willingly stepped away and that her decision to leave was mutual. Donaldson hired an independent investigator to look further into the matter, and on November 1, the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan concluded the allegations were baseless, after conducting "39 interviews of current and former employees" and reviewing "over 4.5 million documents from mobile phones, emails, Telegrams, Discords, WhatsApps and Slack". The law firm reported that: "The allegations were soundly rejected, including by alleged victims." These alleged victims have commented on the allegations as "massive lies," with one saying, "People used my name to make very serious allegations and claims without ever speaking to me." James Stephen Donaldson (MrBeast) Arrested

Jimmy was "Charged With Reckless Driving to Endanger" as well as "Speed Racing" Sources https://www.dexerto.com/youtube/mrbeast-fans-stunned-to-discover-youtuber-was-reportedly-arrested-in-2018-2970381/ ClarBonn (talk) 23:06, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this is notable enough to be mentioned in the article, as the information is only recently resurfaced, and street racing is not the worst crime one can commit. ChopinChemistTalk? 14:42, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dexerto is "rarely suitable for BLPs". If there is a better source, I would support its inclusion in the article. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 18:14, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is an article in Road and Track, [1] which is an enthusiast magazine. Nothing more mainstream and reliable that I could find. -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 18:21, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
