Notability

[edit]

Hi User:Styyx I see your adding the notability tag. I thought this was a clearly notable person on the basis of the following:

  1. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/13/opinion/africa-foreign-aid-philanthropy.html
  2. https://www.theguardian.com/global-development-professionals-network/2016/apr/18/10-of-the-best-humanitarians-to-follow-on-social-media
  3. https://www.theguardian.com/global-development-professionals-network/2016/mar/21/degan-ali-somali-woman-taking-on-the-humanitarian-system (does include quotes, but seems independently written)

But since your tag, I've added more content to demonstrate notability. Some of it is brief, some of it extensive. Do you consider this sufficient to establish WP:GNG? CT55555 (talk) 00:58, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to barely pass the GNG with the first and third (the latter is still a bit short when you exclude quotes and the interview parts and only look at what the source says about her tbh), the second source can't be considered anything significant though. So I don't think it's "clearly notable", but I've removed the {{notability}} tag. ~StyyxTalk? 10:07, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
