User talk:Norcomm
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Music & Home Entertainment Show, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Concerns
Can I take it from your username that you represent Norris-Whitney Communications? I'm a little concerned that you may be unaware of Wikipedia policies regarding conflict of interest and advertising and promotion. I've requested comment from other users on this - you are welcome to participate at either of both of the following two discussions - here and here. RJASE1 Talk 16:08, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of James A. Norris
I've nominated James A. Norris, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that James A. Norris satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/James A. Norris and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of James A. Norris during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Conflict of interest
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Norris-Whitney Communications, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, attribution, and autobiography.
