Issue with Visual Editor

Partially copied from Wikipedia talk:VisualEditor#Possible issue with Visual Editor

I know that there are limitations with Visual Editor and templates but I've started to notice it acting weird on a few specifically. If you edit Template:Infobox U.S. county, it doesn't create a new line for each new parameter added. (Example). DiscoA340 (talk) 14:06, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Add census codes to info box

You list codes like Zips, Area Codes, and Congressional Districts (which may be represented by census codes). However, you do not list the Congressional Disctrict FIPS codes, nor do you list the County FIPS codes or GEOID codes. Since we live in a data world where much data across government agencies are released at a county level using census codes it only stands to reason to add them to this info box. Yes, there are county lists of FIPS codes. However, by keeping that separate, the user has to look in 2 places - the County articles for more information about the county and then find the page that lists the codes. It just stands to reason that all codes related to the county should be listed in the info box. Drmissio (talk) 13:26, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

District Attorney

Should we include the District Attorney of a county in the infobox? I feel it may be useful. 2600:100C:A119:D49D:C449:8744:DADD:960A (talk) 00:56, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Probably not. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:25, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Leader(s)

Maybe I'm just misreading the template instructions, but it implies that you can put multiple leaders in the infobox without actually saying how to do it. For instance, if a county has a County Mayor and a Vice Mayor (or equivalent), it seems like you can only put one, in the template. Am I missing something? nf utvol (talk) 15:35, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Here are pages that use |leader_title=. See Chester County, Pennsylvania, for an example of a place with multiple leaders and how the parameter is used. – Jonesey95 (talk) 17:13, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
