A. G. Rangaraj (1916 or 1917 – 23 March 2009) was a Indian Army medical officer who served in the Korean War.

Military career

He studied at Madras Medical College then joined Indian Medical Service in 1941

During World War 2, he treated woulded soldiers in the Manipur front.

During Korean War, he served in the 60th Parachute Field Ambulance as the commander.

He went to South Korea on 20 November 1950 and he returned to India in February 1953.

About 25 months, his 60th Parachute Field Ambulance treaed so many soldiers of UN Forces and South Korean civilians.[1]

Therefore, He received the Maha Vir Chakra and South Korean Order of Military Merit (Chungmu).
