Mauricio "Pipo" Rodríguez(born September 12,1945) is a former soccer player from El Salvador who represented his country at the 1970 FIFA World CupMexico and coached them to in the 1982 FIFA World Cup Spain.
Playing years
Mauricio pipo Rodriguez began playing soccer at the School Externado Of SanJose 1959, However he began playing forAtlante in 1962 during this time he was selected for the under 20 national side. he was purchased by C.D. FAS for a year loan. He finally signed and played out his career at Universidad from 1963-1972. he was selceted for the national side in 1963 and played at the world cup in1970, however he retired from football in 1973. During his playing helped el salvador qualkify for the olympics, won two championships and was goal machine.
