I became a chartered Electrical Engineer with the IEE and laterly a chartered Mechanical engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers

I was never voted as People magazines "Sexiest Man Alive" in 1991. That accolade went to Patrick Swayze

Personal Life

I am a life long motorcyclist and classic car enthusiast who loves 2-stroke Yamaha’s & Air Cooled Porsches ..... but who doesn’t ?

I tinkered with Facebook for a number of years but ultimately detested the shallow and soulless pursuits of all social media platforms.

I prefers to update friends in the pub and at parties

I proposed to my long term partner, Debbie Parker on the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain in Rio De Janerio.

We eloped in 2021 ;-))

I'm a keen Munroist, I climbed over 200 of the Scottish 3000ft peaks. However, after discovering the Cullins on skye i never found the drive to climb all the boring 'Ben Chonzies' in the middle of nowhere.

However, i tip my hat at those who perservered ;-0
