Elizabeth Alderfer (born February 5, 1986) is an American actress who is known for her role as Olivia in the Netflix comedy television series Disjointed and her recurring role as Lynette in NBC/Peacock comedy series A.P. Bio.
Biography
Alderfer is known for playing the character Olivia in the Netflix original series Disjointed.[1] The character Olivia worked at the pot dispensary and was a love interest of Travis. The show was cancelled after its lone two-part season.[2][3] She has also played the character Sarah in a few General Electric television ads. As of 2019, she has a recurring role in the NBC sitcom A.P. Bio.[4]
Alderfer was cast in a lead role for the new CBS sitcom United States of Al, which premiered on April 1, 2021 surrounded with controversy. Released to mostly negative reviews, United States of Al and its makers were criticized for the show’s humor, use of antiquated tropes, and in particular, critics called out the casting of a South-African-born Indian actor to play an Afghan lead and his use of an inauthentic accent. [5]
She has been married to culinary scientist Ali Bouzari since 2018.[6]
