Sandringham High School is a Zimbabwean Methodist Church school located 25 km from the town of Norton and 65 km from Harare.[1] It is a mixed school that offers educational services up to Form 6.
Origins
The Methodist Church in Zimbabwe acquired a farm next to Chibero College of Agriculture in Chivero communal lands, Mhondoro, for settling some church members, building a church and starting a school. The idea of a school was to introduce education from primary school level to secondary school level. The secondary school would focus on technical education. Home economics, food and nutrition, fashion and fabrics were at the core and intended for the girls. Building and agriculture targeted the boys. Sections of land were then divided into school blocks, residencies for boys and girls, fields, teachers's accommodations, paddocks, and sports fields.
