Dita Přikrylová
Dita Přikrylová is a software engineer, former data analyst and a social entrepreneur, and founder of Czechitas[1][2][3], non-profit organization that aims to inspire and educate women and youth in information technologies to improve diversity in technology.
Education
Přikrylová studied System Engineering at Faculty of Economics and Administration and Applied Computer Science at Faculty of Informatics, both at Masaryk university in Brno[4][5].
Přikrylová was selected as the only Czech participant in the worldwide 2016 Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) and the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in Palo Alto, California[6].
Career
Apart from Czechitas, she is business developer at GreenFox Academy, Czech branch of Hungarian coding bootcamp, which launches free programming courses for women[7].
Přikrylová serves in the Advisory Board of Social Impact Awards and represents 500+ alumni ventures[8], and is a board member of Ceski.digital[9].
Awards and honours
In 2016, Přikrylová was awarded the European Citizen's Prize[10]. The same year, she was selected among 30 youngest leaders in the Czech Republic under the age of 30 by Forbes magazine [11].
In 2017, she received the Community Service Award by SXSW, Texas[12].
In 2018, she was selected as the Female Role Model of the year by Central European Startups Award[13].
