Seaburn is a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro, serving the areas of Fulwell, Roker & Seaburn in Sunderland, England. The Tyne and Wear Metro station at Seaburn was opened in March 2002, following Metro's extension from Pelaw to Sunderland & South Hylton.

The station was formerly served by rail services between Sunderland and Newcastle, but was taken over by the Metro as part of the extension to Sunderland & South Hylton in 2002.

The station was used by 331,707 passengers in 2017-18.

Service & Frequency

Seaburn is served by the Green Line (running from South Hylton & Sunderland to Newcastle City Centre, Regent Centre & Newcastle Airport).

This line runs up to every 12 minutes during the day (Monday to Saturday), and up to every 15 minutes in the evenings and on a Sunday.

Northern services between Sunderland and Newcastle also pass through the station, but without stopping. This is in addition to freight services, and empty Grand Central workings between Heaton depot and Sunderland.
