Legacy: The Absolute Best is a two-disc compilation album by American rock band the Doors, released in 2003. This compilation includes the uncensored versions of both "Break On Through (To the Other Side)" (with the lyrics "she gets high" restored) and "The End" (with Morrison's liberal use of the word "fuck" during the song's interlude). Also included is a previously unreleased studio version of Morrison's epic poetry piece "Celebration of the Lizard," a rehearsal outtake from the band's Waiting for the Sun sessions.

The album debuted on the Billboard 200 on August 30, 2003 at number 63 and remained on the chart for four weeks.[citation needed]
