Hi, Katharineamy -- I just wanted to say thanks for adding categories to the article I wrote on the British artist, Mabel Pakenham-Walsh. As this was my very first Wikipedia article, I was actually unaware that categories could be added; but I now recognize and appreciate their importance. Thank you! Kiev

Xuxa's article revert by thou.

Why did you revert Xuxa's article, where it's said she starred Amor Estranho Amor? She indeed has starred that movie! You do not even know Brazil, you do not even know Xuxa's 'glorious' career! Who do you think you are to revert things you don't know, from a country you have never been!? I am Brazilian (unfortunately, yes), so I have twice more authority to say things about Xuxa than you, mademoiselle.

Frank W. Dux

The edit I made to Frank Dux, that you reverted, was not vandalism. The "Kumite" event Frank Dux speaks of has exactly one(1) witness, Mr. Dux himself. With no reliable(or unreliable) third party sources to the event, it cannot be assumed that Dux was "clearly the best fighter there", or that he won, or was partially blinded during his last fight. Thanks.

Eccles and Jordan flip-flop-invention

Dear Katharineamy! Thank You for data for "Jordan"! Was one of my first tries with Wikipedia to ask for more information about Jordan. From 1985 to 2001 I started to develop 'Computerkunde' ("computer-knowledge"?) at a german Waldorfschool im Hamburg. And I always tried to get knowledge about persons who did the inventions for the "new technology". So Jordan with the flip-flop did together with Eccles one of the basic inventions. Thank You once more for Your work! I realy would apreciate to get a short notice from You. Remarkable spectrum of tasks at the right side! Best greetings from Hamburg! Herzliche Grüße aus Hamburg! Your edit of 'Dilazak' page for 'Catagory'

Dear Katharineamy, Thanks for your interest in Dilazak page. I understand that all non-Afghan and non-Asian people have a particular understanding of the term 'Afghan'. Therefore, I want to highlight few important and basic points which may help you understand the subject:- 1. 'The Afghan' term has two distinct meanings:-

  a. A person, citizen of the country 'Afghanistan'
  b. A person who claims himself to be an Afghan by lineage but is not a citizen of Afghanistan.

2. Generally Afghans speak 'Pashto' or 'Pakhto' as a dialect amongst themselves but so many (More than the Afghans in Afghanistan itself) do not speak Pashto but rather the languages prevailing around them. Same is the case with the Dilazak. There are very few in Afghanistan but a large number lives in countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia etc. From centuries they are settled in those countries and have become part of their societies, though they still possess their true Afghan characteristics.

3. In the light of previously mentioned points, our categorization of the 'Dilazak' page requires re-consideration because 'Dilazak' is no Afghan ethnic group of Afghanistan but certainly it is an ethnic group of Afghans living world over who have no concern with Afghanistan. An example would be as all British people are not Britons and they comprise of many ethnic identities, yet there are so many living in other parts of the world from generations. We will not call them 'Ethnic part of UK' but they would certainly be 'Ethnic part of the British people'

4. The correct category of 'Dilazak' would be 'Ethnic groups of Afghans'. It should NOT be 'Ethnic groups in Afghanistan'. I hope I have not offended you in any way. Regards
