Some information about the military history of the site would be helpful.

I've now added a good deal of material, including a photo of the airfield, based on the Gliding Club website. There is also a link to WWI photos of the Australian Flying Corps. All this should help to provide a wider context. --NigelG (or Ndsg) | Talk 17:08, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
