Template:Infobox reality music competition The second season of Indian Idol Junior commenced from 30 May 2015 on Sony TV. The season will be aired on Saturday and Sunday nights at 8:30 pm IST.[1][2] The series is mainly meant for kids aged between five to fifteen years.It can also be accessed through the Sony LIV app and the website www.SonyLIV.com
The show is hosted by Hussain Kuwajerwala and co-host by Asha Negi.[3][4][5] Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will judge the show along with Vishal Dadlani, Shalmali Kholgade and Salim Merchant.[6][7][8]
The voting process commences on July 4, will take place through digital medium. The audience need to download Sony LIV app and vote for their favorite contestant through the app. They can also logon to Sony LIV website or simply SMS IDOL <space <<contestant code>> to 5252525.[9]
The auditions were held in Kolkata, Delhi, Chandigarh Mumbai,and first time in Dubai which was judged by Shalmali Kholgade as a special guest for the auditions round along with Vishal Dadlani and Salim Merchant.[10][11]
The winner of the show will receive a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakh from Sony Entertainment Television and other prizes from sponsors of the show.[12]
