Pseudotribos ("false chewing") is an extinct genus of mammal that lived in China during the Middle Jurassic some 165 million years ago, more closely related to monotremes than to placental or marsupial mammals.[1] The only known specimen was found in the Daohygou Formation in Inner Mongolia (41°18′N 119°12′E / 41.3°N 119.2°E: paleocoordinates 42°36′N 122°24′E / 42.6°N 122.4°E).[2][3]
