WikiProject Microsoft Newsletter - Want To Opt-Out? Issue 01, January 2015

Project News! Please use the template {{subst:JOINWPMICROSOFT}} to invite users to our WikiProject. Note that {{subst:JOINWPMICROSOFT}} signs your post automatically. Once a user has joined our WikiProject please welcome them by using the template {{subst:Microsoftwel}}. We need more members! Invite as many editors (who are working on Microsoft related articles) as you can! Use the above mentioned invitational template on the user talk pages of possbile members! The current article we are working to improve is Microsoft Word, and the aim for this page is to expand it, revert vandalism, and verify certain information that has become inaccurate over the years, as well as gaining more attention as any and all changes have been either unconstructive or by a singular user. The editor that has the most edits and improvements to this page will earn a barnstar of their choice. The second and third person will also earn one, but one that is pre-decided. Member News If you want to be a member, simply add your name to the list of active users by inserting your username into this format: #{{y}} {{Mailing list member|user=derex99}}, or you can place a request on the talk page and you will be added ASAP. Once you are a member please put {{User WikiProject Microsoft}} on your userpage, or at least Category:WikiProject Microsoft participants, on your userpage, and you may wish to keep a copy of {{Project Microsoft}} in your userspace as well. Lack of members! Any editor who is working significantly on Microsoft-related topics should be invited with {{subst:JOINWPMICROSOFT}} New members are to be welcomed with {{subst:Microsoftwel}} Congratulations WikiProject Microsoft! We now have more active than inactive members of our WikiProject! From the Editor Help is needed for the job of putting future Newsletters together. Interested persons need only start working on next month's issue to qualify. It really is that simple! If you've just joined, add your name to the Participants section of Wikipedia:WikiProject Microsoft. You'll get a mention in the next issue of the Newsletter and get it delivered as desired. Also, please include your own promotions and awards in future issues. Don't be shy! Lastly, this is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue.
