Livio & Roby are a Bucharest based techno duo consisting of Romanian DJs and music producers Silviu Sandu and Robert Precup.[1] Their music repertoire is best defined as deep, rolling underground as well as independent from any existing genres of contemporary sounds, traversing Techno.
Livio & Roby formed in 2005, and released their debut album, Speranta [2] on de 's[3] VIVa MUSiC in 2008. Since then they have released music on labels including Desolat, Vakant, Saved and Fumakilla.[4]
Premiesku
As well as DJing and producing as Livio & Roby, they have also launched the live act, Premiesku, alongside fellow Romanian George G.[5][6]. Their live set up consists of a combination of sequencers, analog synths, drum machines and Akai samplers which they have customized by rewiring. All of the machines are all synced up through a midi clock.[7]. They released their debut album as Premiesku in 2012 on Loco Dice's imprint, Desolat.[8].
