The Iberian Woodpecker (Picus viridis sharpei), is a medium-sized woodpecker endemic to Spain. It is also known as the Iberic Green Woodpecker.[2] It is considered to be a subspecies of the European Green Woodpecker, although some taxonomists consider it to be distinct.[3]
