Emme Marcy Rylan (born Marcy Faith Behrens; November 4, 1980), known professionally as Marcy Rylan, is an American actress best known for her roles as Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light and Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless.
Career
Rylan is best known for her role as Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless and as Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light.[citation needed] She joined the show's cast on February 7, 2006 taking over the role from Crystal Hunt, until the finale on September 18, 2009.[citation needed] She won the role of Winnie Harper in the straight-to-video 2006 cheerleading film Bring It On: All or Nothing in which she co-starred with fellow Guiding Light alumnus Hayden Panettiere (Panettiere had previously played Lizzie for four years).[citation needed] She was also a guest star on the Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh and she has also appeared in several national network commercials.[citation needed] After Guiding Light's cancellation, Rylan joined The Young and the Restless as Abby Newman.[citation needed] Her first airdate was May 18, 2010.[citation needed] She was later absent from the soap during the 2011 holiday season due a maternity leave.[citation needed] In September 2012, it was announced that Rylan had been let go from The Young and the Restless due to budgetary cuts.[1][2][3] She departed onscreen on October 23, 2012 without a proper exit.[4]
Personal life
Rylan graduated from Tyrone Area High School in Tyrone, Pennsylvania in 1999.[citation needed] She and her fiancé Don Money have two sons, Jackson Robert Money (born October 22, 2009) and Levi Thomas Money (born November 3, 2011).[citation needed] In 2009, Rylan legally changed her first name to Emme.[citation needed]
