Cupid plc is an operator of multiple high volume Online Dating sites which is listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM market. Its mix of niche and mainstream sites claim a total of 54 million dater profiles across 58 countries.
History
The company was created in its current form in 2006, when Bill Dobbie and Max Polyakov acquired the EasyDate business and brand, to compliment a range of online dating sites they already operated from an off-shore base. From 2006 to present, the company has experienced aggressive growth in revenues and membership base both through organic growth and acquisitions.

Name change
The company initially listed under the name of EasyDate Plc, the name which it had traded as since foundation. However, in December 2010, as a result of pressure from easyGroup, the company changed its name to the current Cupid plc.[5]
