El Cronista (Spanish: The Reporter) is a daily morning newspaper published in Buenos Aires, Argentina.[1][2][3][4]

It was founded on November 1, 1908 as El Cronista Comercial by Martin Giménez Antonio. In 1989 the name was changed to El Cronista.[1]

It was the first business daily newspaper in Argentina.[1]<ref name="nyt01"> In 1994, it was the first newspaper in Argentina to be published on the internet.[1]

It is published by Unidad Editorial.
