Keezhuvaipur is a beautiful village in the Mallappally Thaluk which is one of five Taluks that makes up the Pathanamthitta district, in Kerala State, India. Keezhuvaipur lies in the bank of river Manimala and is famous for its traditions, cultures, and customs. The town is on the Kottayam-Punalur State Highway. Keezhuvaipur is 3 kms only away from Mallappally and 11 Kms to Kozhencherry
The town is very much blessed with cultural harmony and cooperative Youths who have established some good Youth Forums. Also Keezhuvaipur is well famous for its active part Volley Ball.
Also Keezhuvaipur is having the only Police Station in the Mallappally Taluk. Pincode of the town is 689587.
Politics
Keezhuvaipur is a part of Thiruvalla Assembly Constituency and Pathanamthitta Loksabha Constituency. Joseph M Puthussery is the current MLA. In Lok sabha, Keezhuvaipur is represented by the sitting MP from Pathanamthitta, Mr. Anto Antony (Indian National Congress).
Climate
Keezhuvaipur has a tropical climate. The region receives most of the rain from the South-West monsoon from June to August and the North-East monsoon during October and November. Although the summer is from March to May, it receives locally developed thundershowers in May.
