Real Name

http://www.wrestlinginc.com/v2/wi/stc/nws/2006/9/10/19695.shtml LOOK: he real name of Cryme Tyme's JTG is Devon Driscoll. He is 21 years old and from Brooklyn, NY. He was just signed to a WWE developmental contract a few weeks ago, as he was in Ohio Valley Wrestling on his own for a few weeks. On the other hand, his tag team partner Shad Gaspard was in OVW since 2003. Also, they became a tag team due to Paul Heyman, as he put them together while he was the OVW booker earlier in the year.

No, Devin Driscoll is someone else, though the rest of the info is accurate. --James Duggan 23:09, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Duggan. Bdve

As I proved with the MySpace accounts, Devin Driscoll is not JTG, Devin's a 24 year old WHITE guy from Tennessee. Wrestling Inc. got bad info, though everything else about JTG is correct. James Duggan 03:49, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More proof, OVW results from this past weekend: http://community.livejournal.com/ovw_wrestling/50552.html?#cutid2. JTG was in one match, Driscoll was in another. James Duggan 03:55, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I emailed both Wrestling Inc. and OWW letting them know their info is incorrect using the links I provided here as proof. --James Duggan 04:38, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And look what Pat Buck put on JTG's MySpace: "Look what it said on the internet. "The real name of Cryme Tyme's JTG is Devon Driscoll." Funny stuff." Ok, I'm done. James Duggan 21:20, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move request

Resolved

Who supports a move to JTG (wrestler)? -- iMatthew T.C. 11:36, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, if 20% of his fans call him Jayson Paul still, that would actually counter your argument that the name is completely worth the change. How many who know Hulk Hogan still refer to him as Terry Bollea, certainly not 20%, its more like less that 1%, and Hulk Hogan even refers to himself as Hulk Hogan. My point is, I'm not so sure JTG would even refer to himself as JTG normally, he would probably refer to himself under his real name, and if JTG left WWE, again, he wouldn't be able to use the name JTG wrestling anywhere else except WWE, since the name is copyrighted with WWE like all the other stage names that they come up with. You can keep your descision if you like, but I'm just clarifying my point that it may be way too early in his career for him to be stuck with a single stage name. — Moe ε 19:33, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Jayson Paul

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Jayson Paul's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 05:23, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
