Project Israel To Do:

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

Sources

Hi. I added some sources, I hope nobody minds. I've been eyeing this article for a while and thought I could help. I'm a big fan of the Lehitakfo Chalushin. Is everybody sure he's Satmar? I thought he was Breslov from a Munkatch family? TumbleRumble 11:39, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yesher koah on the sources. About his chasidis, I'm pretty sure he's one of Reb Aaron's hasidim. He was born in the town Munkatch, but identifies as Satmar. (You're right that he brings Breslov sources in sometimes.) Does anyone think we should move the page to Yhoshua Leib Golde. I know the Our Velt article calls him Yhoshua Gould, but nobody knows him by that name.Shia1 14:39, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big Whitewash

This whole article is one massive f*&ing whitewash!!! This man was meating with Arabs and European Anti-semites in an attempt to destroy Israel and wikipedia just pans that as him being "suspected" (or whatever bull-shit term it uses) of designing Obsidian Project Theta, then portrays him as educated but eccentric. I was in the army when Theta was stopped. If you think it was eccentric or cute or something, I hope you die and go to hell. Yoel23 05:14, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss issues before changing wording. You have vandelized the article. Shia1 06:24, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is this about anyway? This is weird... But please be civilized. Yoel, exactly what are your concerns? --Rabbeinu 09:00, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article says that "Rabbi" Gould is a satmar posek. Do we have any evidence of this other than one article saying this is true? That article only says what he calls himself. Satmar has put people like him in Cherem, so he can't be a posek for the movement. A posek is an important position. This guy is an extreme Neturei Karta who tried to destroy Israel. Politics is one thing, but there are 5+ million Jews he wanted to kill. Yoel23 13:07, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the article to reflect reality as it is and not how you want it to be. If you want to alter it again, discuss first. Yoel23 13:27, 20 June 2007 (UTC

I edited the article to include both views, but without the strident language. It's more encyclopedic now. We should also figure out how to reference audio tapes for the quotes section. I think I have maybe one more article mentioning him for more references, and one might have a picture. Maybe Kol HaOlam Koolo has a picture. My kids keep a stack of them. TumbleRumble 15:51, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And F)^& you all!!! I found sources he's not only with Neturei Karta - he runs the deal!!! I left he's Satmar because he was close to the first Rebbes, so maybe its an ethnic thing to him. I don't have a clue. SOmebody should work out language that says he FEELS satmar but doesn't go along with what they say. I have more stuff about him and Neturei Karta, I'm gonna add later. Yoel23 08:32, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The edits were actually good. I cleane dup some of the language. TumbleRumble 19:53, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
