"Ren'ai Shashin"
Song

Information

"Renai Shashin" is Ai Otsuka's 13th single under the avex trax label. It is also her third and final single released in 2006.

"Renai Shashin", which is a ballad, was used for the theme song of the movie "Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru". The title of the movie was originally "Heavenly Forest", but was changed into a phrase from the song's lyrics after the director had listened to the song.

The b-side, "Hanikami Jane", which is an upbeat song, was used in a CM for LOOK~a la mode~ chocolate. The third track is a live version of "Haneari Tamago", a song originally on Ai Otsuka's 3rd album LOVE COOK.

For its first week, the single debuted at #2 with Ai's highest debut sales of the year, 77,570 copies sold. "Renai Shashin" was only second to Kisarazu Cat's Eye's Seaside Byebye. Altogether in 2006, it sold 129,855 copies making it the 75th best-selling single of the year.
