Robert J. Steinmiller Jr. known simply as Bob Steinmiller, is an American actor.

Robert was born in Pittsburg, but grew up in Schaumburg, Illinois. He began his acting career in 1989 in the theaterical production of Les Miserables. Robert went onto star in films in the early 1990s including Bingo, Rudy and The Ref. He appeared on TV in MacDonalds commercials and an episode of The Untouchables. He received a Young Artist Award nomination for Jack the Bear.

In 2001 Robert returned to the stage again in Damn Yankees at the Madrid Theatre, Los Angeles, USA.

Most recently, Robert once again took the theatre scene by storm, starring in the Los Angeles production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Madrid Theatre, playing the loveable role of Hugo Peabody.
