Welcome
Salam brother, I would just like to welcome you to wikipedia and state that I appreciate your excellent edits on the Deaobandi article. There are so many misconceptions and great ignorance about the Deobandis and you have made some excellent contributions. Well done, akhee. Tanzeel 20:00, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Tawassul definition
I have reverted the "of the sufis" from the definition and added a comment about it on the talk page of the Tawassul article. Please have a look and comment. Thanks much. --Nkv 04:15, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- Salams. I noticed your comments on the Tawassul definition. Providing interpretations by yourself from a primary source would qualify as original research and is against wikipedia policy. I'm sure you must have seen how some people on the net twist passages of the Quran and the hadith to show that Islam condones slaughter of civilians. The Reliance of the traveller is a translation of a classic work of Shafi'i Fiqh along with some additions from other traditional books on the Islamic Sharia. It's done by a reputed scholar (of course, there are disagreements to that like with all people). It is the only english work on Islamic sciences approved of by the University of Azhar which has a reputation for being a source of traditional Islamic scholarship. This makes is a reasonably sound reference. Direct Quranic exegesis done by a wikiepdian is not a reliable reference since people can argue either way. A reference to a book of Tafsir or something on those lines which is not disputable is the way references should be cited (like you cited the work by Nasiruddin Albani). If you have sources to substantiate that the definition in the original article is a "sufi" one, please provide them. We can then merge the two definitions (if you provide references for yours) into one section with two paragraphs stating that "X considers Tawassul to be this" and "Y considers it to be that". --Nkv 10:02, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Removing talk pages content
Why are you removing the content on Talk pages [1]. It's an attempt to discuss something. It's considered bad form to do this [2] and might possibly lead to administrative action against you. --Nkv 14:32, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Nuh Ha Mim Keller
I reverted your link structure to the other one on the Nuh Ha Mim Keller article. I think the current version is cleaner . I've added a note in this regard to the Talk page of the article. Do let me know what you think. --Nkv 07:30, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
The content on this article looks like a copyright violation from fatwaonline or some such site. Please alter the notice I've left on the site if you think otherwise. If you don't it will be deleted. Thanks. --Nkv 05:27, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
The Wahdat al-Wajood article is a cut/paste from [3] and I'm marking it as a copyright violation. I shall add a link to the page from the original one. Thanks. I've noticed you doing this for many article (including Deobandi and Tawassul). Please refrain. --Nkv 08:53, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
I have also added a similar notice to Deobandi view of Tawassul which was also lifted from ahya.org. --Nkv 12:17, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
Copyright violations
Please stop cutting/pasting into the Deobandi, Tawassul and Tablighi-Jama'at articles from [4] and [5]. If you persist, I'll have to ask an administrator to ban you. Thanks. --Nkv 05:02, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Code Igniter
The article Code Igniter has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
